About BMI

BMI (Body Mass Index) is a widely used international standard for measuring obesity and health.

BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height (m)²
Example:
Height 170cm, Weight 65kg
BMI = 65 ÷ (1.7)² = 22.5 (Normal range)

Limitation: BMI cannot distinguish muscle from fat. Athletes or muscular individuals may have a high BMI without being obese. Consider combining with body fat percentage and other metrics.
